In May 2016, Raul Gallegos joined the Asset Management group at Credit Suisse to develop and lead and new Real Estate lending platform through the launch of a specialized fund (CBFI) focused on issuing loans for income producing properties. The target asset classes for this vehicle include office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties and hotels. MMREIT was successfully closed in 3Q17 with $6,333 million pesos raised which provide capacity of up to $18,000 million pesos of AUMs with leverage. It is currently executing its first investments. Prior to this, Mr. Gallegos was the President and CEO for GE in Mexico since July 2013, where he was focused on business development and growth in the country through the various industrial and financial business units. He represented the company as a whole which has 11,000 employees, 17 manufacturing plants, 5 service centers and the largest engineering center in Mexico with 1800 specialized engineers. Raúl began his career with GE in 1997 in Stamford, Connecticut with the Latin America group of GE Capital Structured Finance, where he worked on debt and equity transactions for infrastructure projects in Energy, Telecom and the Transportation industries. In 1999, he returned to México to join the GE Capital Real Estate business, where he first worked as a Relationship Manager and originator, and then as the leader of the Debt Business. During 7 years, he was focused on consolidating and growing their loan portfolio, achieving a level of specialization unique in the industry, and a completely integrated platform that became the market leader with over $4 billion dollars in assets. From 2006 to 2013, he served as General Manager of GE Real Estate in México, where he was responsible for both the debt and equity businesses which totaled more than $5 billion dollars in assets, including managing Intramerica Real Estate Group, one of the principal owners and operators of industrial properties in Mexico with a portfolio of more than 200 buildings and 17 million square feet. In December 2012, GE Capital Real Estate sold this platform to Macquarie to create what is now Fibra Macquarie. Raúl is a Civil Engineer from Universidad Anáhuac and he has an MBA from Columbia University in New York. He started his professional career at Industrias Gar-Vel, one of the most important mechanical contractors in Mexico, where he participated and led some of the most important construction projects in the country.

Last April Mrs. Reyes was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Mexican Association of PE & VC Funds, AMEXCAP. From 2013 to 2018 she was Venture Capital Director at the National Entrepreneurship Institute (INADEM), the federal government institution in charge of implementing, executing and coordinating the national policy to support entrepreneurs and foster innovation and competitiveness. She has more than 15 years of experience in development banks in areas such as projects evaluation, technical assistance and project management with multilateral and bilateral funding. She has worked as an independent consultant and project manager of local economic development projects financed with international cooperation funds. Mrs. Reyes has graduated in international affairs from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She has a Master in Local Economic Development from the London School of and Political Science (LSE) and a Master in International Cooperation and Project Management from the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset from Madrid, Spain. She also has a Diploma in Private Equity from the IPADE Business School.

He is 43 years old. He has a law degree with a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona and a master’s degree in Political Management and Strategic Governance from George Washington University. He is an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry. He worked as a development agent for Subway International. He was a Local Congressman for the fourth district in 2012 and in 2015 he was elected Mayor of Merida, in 2018 he was elected Governor of the State of Yucatan for the 2018-2024 term, a position he has held since October 1, 2018. He has participated as a panelist in national and international forums, such as the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP23) in Bonn, Germany; the World Congress of Smart Cities in Barcelona and the International Forum of Sister Cities in Chengdu, China. He was invited by the United Nations to participate in the High-Level International Forum on Sustainable Urban Development, which was held in the People’s Republic of China in 2017. He also participated in the “Talanoa Dialogues” at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP24) in Katowice, Poland. In 2019, he was a speaker at the plenary “Leaving your mark for social and economic development” at the 17th edition of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, held in the city of Mérida, Yucatán. In 2021, he was a special guest of the UK Government to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Scotland, where he accompanied the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford, and Northern Ireland’s First Minister Paul Givan in a discussion on global warming and the implementation of the Paris Agreement. As part of the work with ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, he was appointed Representative and Spokesperson for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean Region to the Global Executive Committee for the 2020-2024 period and Holder of the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Restoration Portfolio of the Global Executive Committee for the 2021-2024 period. In February 2022, he was appointed Chairman of the GOAN Association. In March 2022, he was appointed Chairman of the Governors´ Climate and Forests (GCF) Task Force in the framework of the 12th Annual Meeting held in Manaus, Brazil.

Enrique has a history of deep commitment to the US/Mexico bilateral relationship. He is a former government professional with a strong track record of leading government engagement and business development strategies between Mexico and US. He currently serves as the Managing Director of the US-Mexico Foundation, and is President And Founder of the North Capital Forum. Before joining the USMF, Enrique most recently served as a Director for North America at ProMexico, Mexico’s trade promotion agency, where he worked for more than ten years in several positions. Enrique also has a strong commitment to civil society endeavors and has served in leadership roles on a number of nonprofit boards including Enseña por Mexico (Teach for All’s Mexican affiliate), Reinserta, Fundemex and Mexico en Movimiento. Other previous responsibilities in the Mexican government include being the Technical Secretary for Competitiveness, and Chief of Staff to the President of the CNBV (Banking and Securities Commission). Enrique holds a Bachelor Degree in International Commerce from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, and a Master Degree in Economics and Government from Universidad Anáhuac. He also has completed executive courses at Harvard University, Wharton School and SMU. Enrique is Executive Producer of the television series “Pati’s Mexican Table”, which has been recognized with three James Beard Awards and 3 Emmy nominations. He is President and Founder of the North Capital Forum, an initiative by the USMF, where we seek to promote North America as an economic, social and political powerhouse.

O’Donnell currently manages one of the largest institutional industrial portfolios in the country. To date, he has led investments of approximately USD$850 million in Gross Transaction Cost in industrial properties in Mexico. Mr. O’Donnell is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce (Mexico Chapter), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. O’Donnell holds a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a native of Newport Beach, California.

Ernesto Revilla is a Managing Director and Head of Latin America Economics at Citigroup. He joined Citi in 2015 as Mexico economist. Before, he had a 12-year career at Mexico’s Finance Ministry where he was the Chief Economist. In that position, Revilla headed macroeconomic planning, coordinated Mexico’s National Development Plan, served as advisor to the minister and participated in budget negotiations. Earlier, Revilla was an economist at the World Bank in Washington, DC. Revilla studied economics at the undergraduate level at ITAM in Mexico and at the graduate level at the University of Chicago.

Enrique Lavin is a managing director and head of Mexico & deputy head of Latin America at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Mexico, Enrique is responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the performance of US $3.0billion of assets under management. Enrique is also responsible for heading the business development efforts and thereby responsible of structuring private and public equity raising initiatives for the region, as well as for managing PGIM Real Estate’s relationships with investment banks and investors. He is a member of the Latin America Investment Committee. Overall, during his tenure at PGIM, Enrique has executed an aggregate of US$7.0 billion of transactions, both in public and private markets, and including debt, equity and M&A. His experience in the real estate industry includes 19 years in the real estate industry in Mexico and US$8.0 billion of transactions in positions such as vice president at Credit Suisse for the Real Estate Finance and Securitizations group and director of Debt Origination at GE Real Estate. From 2011 to 2012, Enrique was a member of the board of directors of Paz Corp., a public homebuilder based in Chile and is currently a board member of Terrafina(MXSE: TERRA13). Enrique holds a degree in industrial engineering from the Instituto Tecnologicoy de EstudiosSuperioresde Monterrey (ITESM) and a master of business administration from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was recipient of the Global Star Award.

Is a managing director at PGIM Real Estate and head of the Americas and EMEA Business Development. Based in the United States, Faris is responsible for managing and developing PGIM Real Estate’s client relationships with North America, Europe, Latin America and Middle East institutional investors in support of our real estate, agriculture and impact capabilities. He is a member of the U.S. Executive Council. Faris also oversees the coordination of U.S. and Europe business development activities between PGIM and Montana Capital Partners – a PGIM owned global private equity secondaries manager. Overall, Faris has over 25 years of experience and has been involved in over $17 billion of transactions in both advisory and principal roles across the real estate and infrastructure sectors. Previously, Faris served as a director for Mubadala PGIM Real Estate, based in Abu Dhabi, where he led the joint venture’s investment, product development and capital raising activities. Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate in 2014, Faris was a director with Macquarie Capital Advisers based in the United States and Dubai, where he focused on financial advisory assignments, capital raising and principle investments on behalf of the firm. Previously in his career, Faris held positions with BMO Capital Markets, Silver Portal Capital, J.P. Morgan and Wachovia Securities where he focused on real estate and infrastructure financing, capital raising and strategic advisory work. President and CEO of FINSA, he has led FINSA’s growth and transformation from a family venture into a major international real estate developer. He established joint ventures and partnerships with global institutional financial players that have secured FINSA’s continued expansion and access to the international capital markets. In 2014 Mr. Argüelles was named EY Entrepreneur of the YearTM in Mexico. He received the “Good Neighboring Award” in 1998 from Mexican-American Chamber of Commerce and is an active board member of the Mexican Red Cross. He is President of the Mexican Association of Industrial Parks in Mexico – AMPIP, and Regional Board President of BBVA, Mexico’s leading bank. Carlos Mayorga manages the Global Private Equity Funds portfolio at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), based in Washington, DC. Eduardo is a serial entrepreneur with more than two decades of expertise in Mexico’s energy and infrastructure sectors. At just 19, he showcased his forward thinking by captivating the Mexican Senate with a powerful speech, advocating for private investments in the nation’s electric sector. He launched his career at 20, advising the Director of Modernization at CFE, aiding in the development of what would evolve into the Mexican Wholesale Electric Market. Later, he ventured into investment banking, as an energy sector analyst, contributing to projects surpassing $100 million in equity. His entrepreneurial journey spans diverse industries including energy, media, and beverages, with significant successes like Zen Media, a forerunner in Latin American indoor advertising, prior to its acquisition by one of the major outdoor media players in Mexico. Eduardo is the founder and Managing Partner of Ennova America, a private equity firm established in 2013, aiming to lead the transformation towards clean energy and sustainable infrastructure in Mexico. In 2018, he closed the Proton I fund, which is developing a 200 MW solar generation portfolio and is currently in the process of placing a public fund focused on acquiring brownfield sustainable infrastructure projects within Mexico. Ambassador Arturo Sarukhan is an international strategic advisor, public speaker, and a media contributor based in Washington, D.C., and a former Mexican Ambassador to the U.S. He is a nonresident senior fellow at The Brookings Institution, an adjunct lecturer at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a distinguished visiting professor at the Annenberg School of Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California, a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Mexico Institute, and an Associate Fellow at The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) in the UK. Ambassador Sarukhan writes a biweekly column on international issues in Mexico City’s El Universal newspaper and frequently publishes op-eds in U.S. media outlets. He participates in a weekly radio newscast in Mexico and a digital video platform in the U.S. Ambassador Sarukhan currently serves on corporate boards, and as a member of the board of directors for the Americas Society in New York City and the Inter-American Dialogue. He is an advisory board member for the Migration Policy Institute and an advisory committee member for the Global Action on Gun Violence. Ambassador Sarukhan served as a career diplomat in the Mexican Foreign Service for 22 years. From 2007 to 2013, he served as Mexico’s ambassador to the United States becoming a digital diplomacy pioneer. Previously, he served, among other positions, as consul general in New York, and chief of policy planning and deputy assistant secretary for inter-American affairs at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Change has been a constant in José Antonio’s life. On January 2012 he moved from Nacional Financiera to the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and on September that same year he created Vive Energía, a renewable energy development company, funded mainly with the family-office of the Lopez family, owners of GISSA. In 2015 Vive Energia sold a controlling interest of its project pipeline to Envision Energy from China. He is the company’s Chairman and Principal. To date, Vive has constructed and operates two with farms in the State of Yucatán, with a total investment of 320 million dollars. From December 2008 to January 2012, he held the position of Deputy General Director for Investment Banking at Nacional Financiera. During his term he was responsible of project finance in different sectors structuring more than US $1 billion in investments. Concurrently, he held the position of Chairman of the Corporación Mexicana de Inversiones de Capital ( better known as “Fondo de Fondos”). During his tenure at the fund, he was responsible for more than $500 USD investment commitments and for the creation of a Venture Capital fund of funds known as “Mexico Ventures”. Since then, he has been involved in the private equity industry. From 1998 to 2008 Mr. Aguilar worked in different energy companies (Enron, SUEZ GDF, Ecomex, Acciona), providing strategic direction and financial management of a very diverse portfolio, including natural gas transportation and distribution, cogeneration, combined cycle generation, compress natural gas and renewable energy. Among the most important projects that he directed in the public sector were, Terminal 2 of the Mexico City airport, the Suburban Train, the project to safeguard the General Archive of the Nation, the restructuring and implementation of the Cédula de Identidad project, the creation of the Ministry of the Environment and the transformation of agricultural subsidies to make them consistent with NAFTA. In the private initiative, he served as Managing Director at Oliver Wyman (Mercer Management Consulting) where he advised the Mexican government on the commercialization of liquefied natural gas in the Pacific region, on the drilling strategy and optimization of the Pemex fleet, the privatization of airports, the modernization and distribution of systems focused on providing support to the population that is in a situation of poverty and the creation of regional water systems. Manuel graduated from MIT’s Department of Economics in 1989, where he was twice awarded the William L. Stewart Jr. Award and earned an MPA from Harvard University in 1993. Jorge Islas Lopez is Consul General of Mexico in New York, by virtue of the appointment made by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and unanimous ratification made by the Senate of the Mexican Republic on March 20th, 2019; taking office on May 3rd, 2019. As an active promotor of human rights, one of his main priorities as Consul General will be to defend immigrant rights, regardless of their status. Mr. Islas is recognized nationwide in the private and public sector for his expertise in Constitutional Law and human rights defender. He has worked to promote the right of television viewers as News Ombudsman of the Congressional Television Channel, also ratified unanimously by the Mexican Senate; as well as environmental rights, as author of the first legal disposition of the rights of Mother Earth in the Mexican legislation. A true pioneer, he wrote the first federal legislation in Mexico regarding class actions (2008-2009) and transparency and access to public information (2002) (Freedom of Information Act). He has also authored constitutional reforms of the states of Oaxaca and Michoacán, and served as advisor for Mexico City´s first constitution. Appointed by Rector Juan Ramón de la Fuente, from 2004 to February 2008, he served as Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México´s (UNAM´s) General Counsel. In the private practice, Mr. Islas founded and is the current director —on leave of absence— of the law firm “Proyectos Jurídicos Consultoría”. He also practiced international law in the New York based firm Shearman & Sterling. He is a distinguished constitutional law tenure Professor at two prestigious universities in Mexico: UNAM and ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México). Furthermore, he established the first course on the right to information in Mexico and Latin America and currently holds the Chair “Giovanni Sartori” at UNAM Law School. Mr. Islas holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Master of Law from Columbia University in New York.
