ABOUT

The Mexican Association of Private Equity, A.C. (AMEXCAP) founded in 2003, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster the development of the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry in Mexico.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN THE EVENT?

Mexico PE Day 2023 The main objective of this flagship event is to attract foreign investments in Mexico, as well as bonding in joint projects and build collaborative networks between Private Equity players operating in Mexico and international participants.

Pablo is as Co-founder and Managing Director of PC Capital. Before PC Capital, Pablo worked as a Vice President for FondElec Group in Stamford, Connecticut, where he helped managed a Private Equity portfolio of primarily energy and telecom investments in Latin America. Prior to FondElec, he was a consultant for Deloitte Consulting/Braxton Associates where he worked with clients in Mexico, Argentina, Central America, and the United States. Pablo holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Management of Technology from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Pablo is a member of the Board of AMEXCAP, Medios Cattri, Netwey, Rancho los Molinos, Te Creemos Holding, and the Mercersburg Academy, his alma matter.

Liliana Reyes

Last April Mrs. Reyes was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Mexican Association of PE & VC Funds, AMEXCAP. From 2013 to 2018 she was Venture Capital Director at the National Entrepreneurship Institute (INADEM), the federal government institution in charge of implementing, executing and coordinating the national policy to support entrepreneurs and foster innovation and competitiveness. She has more than 15 years of experience in development banks in areas such as projects evaluation, technical assistance and project management with multilateral and bilateral funding. She has worked as an independent consultant and project manager of local economic development projects financed with international cooperation funds. Mrs. Reyes has graduated in international affairs from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She has a Master in Local Economic Development from the London School of and Political Science (LSE) and a Master in International Cooperation and Project Management from the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset from Madrid, Spain. She also has a Diploma in Private Equity from the IPADE Business School.
